EDHS 461 - Introduction to Paramedic Practice (3)


This is an introductory course to the paramedic track. Topics include roles and responsibilities of the paramedic, EMS systems and communications, documentation, ethics, ambulance operations, MCI command, rescue awareness, hazardous materials incidents, terrorism, and crime scene awareness. Recommended Preparation: EMT with at least 100 patient contacts as an EMT.
