EDHS 462 - Fundamentals of Patient Management (3)

EDHS 462, Fundamentals of Patient Management, introduces students to the fundamentals of prehospital patient management. We will discuss patient assessment, airway and ventilatory management, and therapeutic communications. Additionally, we will cover assessing patients with special challenges, such as those with sensory deficits, developmental disabilities, and who are homeless or impoverished. Recommended Preparation: EMT with at least 100 patient contacts as an EMT. (Fall)
