MUSC 431 - Planning and Instruction in the Choral Music Classroom (2)

Students in this course will learn approaches to curriculum writing and unit planning in the choral classroom. Topics covered include principles of Understanding by Design-student learning outcomes (SLOs), backward planning, assessment models, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. Students will explore connecting music learning outcomes drawn from the national standards with interdisciplinary, social justice, and civic learning outcomes.
