ART 351 - Feminist Vision: Art (3) This course explores feminist theories and practices in the art world, focusing on artists from Europe, the U.S.A., and Latin America. We begin with the premise that in any era and culture where systems of inequality exist, there are always people who challenge, intervene, and change their societies. Instead of viewing these artists as “ahead of their time,” we study them as agents of social change who are vitally part of their time.
Grading: Graded Course ID: 102970 Consent: No Special Consent Required Components: Lecture Prerequisite: ART 216 or ART 221 with a grade of ‘C’ or better.
