HIST 210 - Migration in World History (3) This course explores the role of migration in world history in the modern era. Migration is used as a lens to explore key events and changes in the modern era, focusing on the interrelationship between different parts of the world. The course is organized around case studies exemplifying key types of migration at different times and in different contexts including refugee and diaspora migration; forced and chattel slave migration; economic migration; settler migration; internal migration; and return and circular migration.
