SOCY 490 - Research Practicum (1-3) This research experience involves active participation in social science research under the direct supervision of a faculty member in Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health. The student will participate as a research assistant in an ongoing faculty-led project. Research may include but is not limited to literature and grant database management, qualitative or quantitative data collection and analysis, and scholarly writing. Students who are interested and have the required preparation should contact individual faculty members about possible research opportunities. This course is repeatable for credit. Students may complete a maximum of 9 credits. Note: This course does not count toward major or minor elective requirements. A student may register for no more than 3 credits per instructor within a given semester. (Fall/Spring/Summer)
