BIOL 603 - Introduction to the Chemistry-Biology Interface (CBI) Credits: [3] Description: This course covers a wide array of topics, from basic chemistry, biochemistry, and biological phenomena, to an understanding of cutting edge methods being undertaken at the chemistry-biology interface, to writing in the discipline at the chemistry-biology interface. By the end of this course, each student will be well prepared to be an active, full member of the CBI program, with a broad interdisciplinary knowledge of chemical and biological principles. Recommended Preparation: The completion of undergraduate courses through two (2) semesters of organic chemistry, one (1) semester of biochemistry, and one (1) semester of biology are strongly recommended.
