This intermediate course in fiction writing develops students’ abilities in crafting short stories by building on the strategies and approaches they learned in introductory creative writing coursework. Students study fiction by published authors and write their own stories, and they expand their skills in sharing feedback on peers’ writing in a supportive workshop setting.
