This is a performance course designed to develop students’ basic and advanced performance techniques of the music of the gamelan, a traditional ceremonial ensemble from Indonesia. Ensemble performs regularly. MUSC 310 cannot be taken concurrently with MUSC 358. This course is repeatable for credit. Recommended Preparation:MUSC 230 or prior experience playing in an ensemble. Note: Students may complete a maximum of 10 semesters.
