PHYS 111 - Basic Physics I (4) This first-semester introductory algebra-based physics course is intended for those majoring in the life sciences and others for whom basic knowledge of physics is helpful or desired. Topics include kinematics, dynamics, energy, simple harmonic motion, thermal physics, and fluid physics. This course consists of lectures and labs. Note: This course satisfies the minimum requirements of medical and dental schools.
Grading: Graded/Satisfactory Unsatisfactory/Audit Course ID: 56126 Consent: No Special Consent Required Components: Laboratory, Lecture Attributes: Course Fee = $50.00, Science Plus Lab (GEP), Science Plus Lab (GFR) Prerequisite: MATH 106 , MATH 150 , MATH 151 , or MATH 155 with a grade of ‘C’ or better or score of 5 on the Math Placement Test.
