PHIL 230 - Introduction to East Asian Philosophy (3) This course provides an introduction to the philosophical traditions of East Asia. Among the traditions typically discussed are Confucianism, Mohism, Daoism, Buddhism, and Neo-Confucianism. Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts and arguments proposed by these different schools of thought, as well as their historical background.
