POLI 350 - The Policy-Making Process(3.00) This course introduces students to the context, participants and stages (e.g., problem definition and implementation) of the American public policy process. It focuses on domestic public policy-making at the national level and examines some of the political, constitutional and social equality issues affecting public policy making. In addition, the course analyzes several substantive policy areas (energy, crime, welfare, health and education) employing the policy stages around which the course is structured. Recommended Preparation: POLI 100 or junior standing.
