Technical Management Faculty:
The goal of the program is to develop successful leaders in today’s organization. Our graduates know how to think strategically about leading people in a diverse environment, make sound ethical decisions, and utilize technology to provide a strategic advantage at an appropriate level of risk. In addition, our graduates are prepared to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
The Technology Management program is built around a core set of six courses that provide the foundational knowledge in leadership, communications, ethics and project management. The core courses are supplemented with technically-oriented courses in entrepreneurship, international project management, and organizational leadership. Students can also earn certificates in systems engineering, cybersecurity, and others along with the Master’s degree.
Domestic Students
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science or Technology field. (Bachelor’s degree in other fields requires a minimum of three years’ experience working in a technology field)
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- GREs are not required
In addition, for International Applicants:
- English Proficiency: TOEFL (99iBT) or IELTS (7.0) testing required

Financial Assistance
The MPS: Technical Management is an applied, professional degree and as such does not offer research-based assistantships. However, students are eligible to apply for non-research based graduate assistantships offered through other academic departments
