Modern Languages, Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, Two-Language Option, B.A.

All courses submitted by a student in fulfillment of the requirements for the major must be completed with a grade of C or higher.

MLLI Two-Language Option (39-43 credits)

Students may choose one of four primary languages (French, German, Russian, or Spanish), together with a secondary language:

MLL 301-Textual Analysis: Words, Images, Music (3.00)
Although not required for the major, MLL 191: The World of Language II is highly recommended.

FREN 301-Advanced French I (3.00)
FREN 302-Advanced French II (3.00)

12 credits:

foundation courses

3 credits:

elective FREN courses at the 400 level

12 credits in a second language (above 202) taught in the target language

Track A or B: Cultural Studies or Advanced Language Studies Track

9 credits:

either from cultural studies courses (GERM 375 , GERM 421 ) or from advanced language studies courses (GERM 309 , GERM 310 )
