Decision Making Support Certificate

This upper division certificate will prepare students to apply course work in decision support, artificial intelligence and enterprise management topics to create automated information systems.

All upper level IS courses (numbered >= 300) used to satisfy this certificate must be taught through the IS department at UMBC.

Required Courses:

IS 325 - Introduction to Management Science (3.00)
IS 425 - Decision Support Systems (3.00)

At least two of the following:

IS 427 - Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Concepts and Applications (3.00)
IS 428 - Data Mining Techniques and Applications (3.00)
IS 438 - Project Management (3.00)
IS 489E - Enterprise Resource Planning
