Business Technology Administration, B.A.

Students who wish to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Technology Administration (BTA) must satisfy the following requirements:

A grade of C or better for any course to be applied to the BTA major

All Business Technology Administration majors must complete at least 9 upper level IS and Management courses (numbered >= 300) taught by the IS department at UMBC.

IS 320 - Advanced Business Applications (3.00)
IS 325 - Introduction to Management Science (3.00)
IS 350 - Business Communications Systems (3.00)
IS 440 - Integrating Technology into Business Processes (3.00)
Students may not use IS 397 , IS 399 , IS 400 , IS 467 , IS 469 , IS 478 , IS 479 or any course being used to satisfy an IS upper level certificate requirement
