The EHS curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree combines courses in the arts and humanities, social sciences, mathematics, sciences and EHS courses.
A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the major. P/F grading is not acceptable for departmental required coursework.

EHS Management Concentraton Lower-Division Requirements
Science Course (7 credits required)
- Two science courses, one with a lab [7]
Mathematics Courses (4 credits required)
Select one from the following:
Social Sciences/Political Science (22 credits required)
Emergency Health Services: (12-13 credits)
Note:
1 First Year and Transfer students enroll during first semester at UMBC.
2 Must complete BOTH EHS 202 & EHS 203 for EMT Certification credit OR have current acceptable EMT Certification

Electives (23 credits)
Select from elective courses to complete GEP requirements. Management track majors are encouraged to complete additional electives for the minor in Public Administration.
