The certificate consists of four three-credit courses (12 credits total). A grade of “B” or higher must be earned in the four required courses for the certificate.
Students must take the following courses:
Plus one three-credit course in social research methods or statistics:
Plus one three-credit course in any substantive area in Sociology.
Relevant graduate courses in other disciplines may also be used with the prior permission of the Graduate Program Director.
