The EHS curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree combines courses in the arts and humanities, social sciences, mathematics, sciences and EHS courses.
A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the major. P/F grading is not acceptable for departmental required coursework.

Note:
1 First Year and Transfer students enroll during first semester at UMBC. 2 Must complete both EHS 202 and EHS 203 for EMT Certification credit or have current acceptable EMT Certification Information Systems (3 credits)

Social Sciences/Political Science/English (9 credits required)
Emergency Health Services (27 credits required)
