Offered by Ancient Studies . This program is designed for students who want to meet additional challenges, especially those students who are considering graduate school.

Admission to the Program
- Ancient Studies, B.A. student with junior standing
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 in Ancient Studies courses (i.e., courses in ANCS, ARCH, GREK, LATN and HIST 453 , HIST 455 , and HIST 456 )
- Submission of the Ancient Studies Honors Degree application form
Program Requirements
- Advanced Classical Language option of the Ancient Studies, B.A. and minimum 45 credits for the major
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
Upper-Level Courses (9 credits)
Complete the following in place of two upper-level courses in the major:
Advanced Greek or Latin Courses (6 credits)
Complete two courses from the following or other approved 300- or 400-level Greek or Latin courses:
Additional Language (4 credits)
An additional language to the Intermediate I level.
