Philosophy Departmental Honors

Offered by Philosophy . The departmental honors program enables eligible students to pursue the study of a philosophical topic in depth and engage in original research.
|
Admission to the Program
- Completion of 45 credits
- Minimum GPA of 3.6 in upper division Philosophy courses, including courses in progress at the time of application
- Two upper division Philosophy courses, excluding PHIL 400 , including at least one course at the 400 level
- Submission of application
Program Requirements
- Completion of Philosophy, B.A. and an additional 6 credits
- Completion of the honors research project
Honors Independent Study (6 credits)
