Offered by Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health. Students with strong academic records conduct substantial independent research projects, culminating in a thesis, during their final year in the major. Students considering graduate school are particularly encouraged to pursue this option.
Admission to the Program
Completion of a minimum of 60 credits
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Completion of a minimum of 3 upper-level courses in Anthropology
Minimum GPA of 3.5 in Sociology and Anthropology courses

Completion of Cultural Anthropology, B.A., 6 additional credits, and completion of an approved honors thesis
