The curriculum leading to an Emergency Health Services, B.S. combines courses in the arts and humanities, social sciences, mathematics, sciences and emergency health services.

Major Requirements
- Minimum 81 credits. Students complete the Paramedic Concentration in 129-132 total credits.
- Minimum grade of ‘C’ in courses applied to the major
- Completion of one of the following concentrations: Management, Paramedic
EMT Certification (6 credits)
Students without a current, acceptable EMT certfication complete the following: Emergency Health Services (24-25 credits)
Complete the following: Mathematics Courses (4 credits)
Complete one course from the following: Emergency Health Services Concentration (47-78 credits)
Complete one of the following concentrations: Social Sciences and Political Science
Complete the following 22 credits: Information Systems
Complete the following 3 credits: Upper-Level Social Sciences and English
Complete the following 9 credits: Emergency Health Services Management
Complete the following 6 credits: Internship
Complete 7 to 15 credits of internship: Paramedic Concentration
The Paramedic Concentration consists of the core requirements of the Emergency Health Services, B.S. and a minimum of 76 credits in the concentration. Students pursuing the Paramedic Concentration must be EMT certified and provide documentation of a minimum of 100 patient contacts by the fall of junior year. Science Courses

Complete 3 or 4 credits from the following: Anatomy and Physiology
Complete the following 8 credits: Chemistry Sequence
Complete 9 or 10 credits from one of the following chemistry sequences: Social Science Courses
Complete the following 7 credits: Paramedic Core Courses
Complete the following 46 credits: Upper-Division Elective
