Offered by History .
A history minor is an excellent complement to any major. It provides knowledge about the past as context for the present and helps students develop their critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills. The minor is especially useful for STEM majors and those interested in journalism, business, law, and public policy careers. A history minor demonstrates to graduate school admission committees and to potential employers that the applicant is well-rounded and understands the humanistic aspects of their chosen career field.
