The Arabic Certificate develops language proficiency as well as sophisticated knowledge of cultural content that adds to linguistics knowledge. It provides valuable language skills and cultural knowledge to students planning to pursue careers in global studies, political science, information systems, and other fields.

- Minimum 17 credits
- Minimum grade of ‘B’ in courses applied to the certificate
- Certificates cannot be combined with a major or minor in the same language
