Aging Studies Minor

Offered by Management of Aging Services , students can combine the Aging Studies Minor with a wide range of academic majors.

Minor Requirements

Minimum 18 credits with a minimum grade of ‘C’
This minor concentration cannot be declared in conjunction with the Management of Aging Services, B.A. , Management of Aging Services Minor , or Health, Wellness, and Aging Minor .

Course Requirements (18 credits)

General Requirement (3 credits)

Complete the following:

AGNG 200 - Aging People, Policy and Management (3)

Distribution Requirements (15 credits)

Complete courses from a minimum of three of the five domains that reflect the interdisciplinary nature of aging studies.

Domain 1: Management and Policy

Domain 2: Health and Aging

Domain 3: Aging and Technology

Domain 4: Contemporary Issues in Aging

Domain 5: Research/Experiential Learning
