SOCY 472 - Issues in Aging Policy

This course addresses salient issues in aging policy and provides students with a context for understanding the public policy process. The course will explore theoretical models of public policy and will apply them to aging policy, examine major public-policy controversies facing the aging society, study the role of organizations in the policy process, provide tools for analyzing social policies in aging, and expose students to key literature in aging and social policy.
