GES 338 - Chesapeake Bay: Changing Management & Policy(3.00) We explore the past and current challenges facing the Chesapeake Bay from a management/policy perspective. Considering the entire Chesapeake Bay watershed, we chart the shifting anthropogenic pressures on the Bay, assess conservation and restoration strategies, analyze stakeholder groups across scales, and explore future scenarios for the Bay in a changing climate. This course has a practical emphasis, with opportunities for students to engage with the field, via guest lectures and optional field experiences.
