ECON 363 - Sports Economics and Finance (3) This course covers issues in the economics and finance of sports. Issues studied relate to monopoly structure of professional sports, labor relations between owners and players and between colleges and collegiate athletes, public subsidies to professional sports franchises, and the economics of intercollegiate sports. In addition, the course covers topics in the governance and financing of sports organizations. Recommended Preparation: ECON 311
