EDUC 428 - Methods of Teaching Social Studies in the Secondary School (3)

The course explores the concepts, issues, and methods relevant to teaching social studies at the secondary level. Students gain conceptual knowledge and practical experience with planning, materials development, instructional approaches, and assessment that meet the needs of diverse learners. The course also explores educational technologies for use in social studies curricular planning and instruction. Field experiences are required for this course.
