EHS 465 - Medical Emergencies I (3) The medical emergencies I course focuses on assessing and managing patients with specific medical conditions. Topics include: neurologic emergencies, HEENT diseases, abdominal, genitourinary, and renal emergencies, toxicology, anaphylaxis, hematologic and immunologic emergencies, infectious disease, and home health care. Patient specific assessment and associated pharmacologic interventions will also be discussed.
