ART 331 - Graphic Design I (3) This course is an introduction to methods for creating images, signs and symbols with a priority placed on the use of the grid as a structural device. Emphasis is placed on research, analysis, the design process, image-translation and image-reflection. Note: This course is designated as a gateway course for Design, B.F.A. majors and must be passed with a grade of ‘B’ or better to continue in the Graphic Design sequence. (Fall)
