ART 366 - Documentary Film and Photography (3) This course explores the camera as a tool to engage and observe the world socially and politically and examine the role of the documentarian as a storyteller. Students will learn non-fiction story development, interviewing, editing, and sequencing while considering aesthetic, conceptual, and ethical issues particular to documentary. The work of historical and contemporary artists will be studied and discussed. (Fall)
