Graduates are also well-prepared for advanced studies in classics, archaeology, and ancient history.
Academic Advising
All Ancient Studies majors and minors should contact the current chairperson, Dr. Rosenbloom, for academic advising.
Honors Program

The Honors student must take ANCS 399H , ANCS 498H /ANCS 499H in place of two upper-level courses in the major requirement, two additional three-credit, 300- or 400-level courses in Latin or Greek and 201 in the other language. For more information, contact the department chairperson.
A student must have at least a 3.5 GPA in ancient studies courses to become an Honors student.
Special Opportunities
