The Information Systems Minor provides students from across campus with a coherent sequence of courses that exposes them to information technology issues that they might encounter in any field, and gives them some skills for addressing those issues in different environments.

Minor Requirements

  • Minimum 18 credits
  • Minimum grade of ‘C’ in courses applied to the minor
  • Upper-level Information Systems courses completed in residence at UMBC
