PSYC 399 - Cooperative Education in Psychology (1-3) This course provides a means for students intending to pursue careers in psychology to acquire academic credit while they are employed in a position related to psychology. The number of credits assigned, which will not exceed three per semester, will be based upon the instructor’s assessment of the intellectual and scientific level of the employment and its contribution to the professional development of the student. The grade assigned will be based on the quality of a written report and on the instructor’s appraisal of the student’s performance. The instructor may be guided in part by an evaluation provided by the student’s employment supervisor. This course does not meet psychology major or minor requirements. A student may register for no more than 3 credits of PSYC 399 with a given instructor per semester. This course is repeatable for credit. Students may complete a maximum of 6 credits.
