SOWK 397 - Social Work Methods I: Introduction to Practice (3) This course provides knowledge, skills and values needed for beginning social work practice. Emphasis is placed on communication skills and the beginning stages of the problem-solving process. Special attention is given to the significance of human diversity for interpersonal helping.
