Description: The student will be required to attend the undergraduate lecture course in biochemistry (CHEM 438: Comprehensive Biochemistry), which covers metabolic pathways and selected topics in nucleic acid and membrane biochemistry. In addition, the student will be assigned reading in the research literature in one or more of the above areas and be required to present a seminar or write a paper based on this reading.
