ENGL 369 - Race and Ethnicity in U.S. Literature(3.00) This course examines how notions of race and ethnicity are represented, contested, and reconsidered in U.S. fiction of the mid-nineteenth century through the present. Special attention will be paid to how race intersects with gender, sexuality, and class. Course readings are drawn from writers of a range of ethnic backgrounds.
