PSYC 421 - Parenting(3.00) This course is designed to facilitate understanding of parenting processes and the parent-child relationship based on scientific study of child development and family relations from an ecological perspective. Pertinent theory, research, and practical issues regarding factors that influence parenting and its subsequent effects on children’s development are examined.
