PSYC 385H - Health Psychology(3.00) The course presents a comprehensive review of the role of behavioral variables in the maintenance of health and in the prevention, etiology and treatment of disease. Special attention is paid to behavioral variables in coronary heart disease, hypertension and cancer. Other topics include pain management, the treatment of obesity and alcoholism and the management of the dying patient.
