The relationship between the United States and China is one of the most critical for peace and stability in world affairs. The long history of cooperation and competition between the two powers dates to the 18th century, long before either emerged as a superpower, but continues today. This course helps students analyze developments in this diplomatic relationship on all levels, from the presidential to the personal, while keeping an eye on the future.
