HIST 426 - Objects in History/Objects as History: Material Culture and Museum Studies for Historians(3.00) This course introduces students to the theories and methods that historians use to analyze and interpret material culture. In this seminar style course, students will explore and discuss the history of American museums and their collections. They will also analyze the value of material culture as historical evidence. This class is intended for upper level students who have experience in conducting primary and secondary source research. Recommended Preparation HIST 201 or HIST 300
