HAPP 310 - Population and Reproductive Health(3.00) Population and reproductive health are intrinsically linked through fertility,but the relationship can be affected by myriad of social, economic, behavioral, and political factors. The world’s population continues to grow while many still lack access to reproductive health services and family planning. The course will also cover population theory, methods of measurement, and population/reproductive health indices where appropriate. Significant emphasis will be placed on inequality and disparities in reproductive health.
