GES 488 - Spatial Data Analysis and GIS Applications (3) This course covers a broad range of spatial analysis from basic data statistics to advanced computational techniques. The goal of this course is to introduce student to various quantitative methods used in geographical data and applications. This course will teach students to understand these concepts and to be able to apply them in geographical problems. The research topics will cover urban pattern analysis, health care, socioeconomic data, and crime data analysis. Students will have the opportunities to work on GIS application examples and cases.
