HONR 201 - Honors Transfer Seminar (2)

HONR 201 is a two-credit course designed for first-year transfer students in the Honors College at UMBC. The course is designed to help address concerns and issues facing Honors College students transitioning to life at UMBC. The course will focus on professional and academic writing and finding on and off campus opportunities to advance students’ academic and professional goals. Students will become familiar with academic and professional resources at UMBC and how to cultivate on-campus relationships to become involved in research, internships, and prestigious co-curricular opportunities.
