POLI 481 - Nuclear Weapons in World Politics(3.00) This course examines nuclear weapons issues in contemporary international relations, with an emphasis on deterrence and strategic stability. It covers great-power nuclear politics (United States, China, Russia), regional nuclear powers (Britain, France, India, Pakistan Israel, North Korea), nuclear proliferation and nonproliferation, arms control and disarmament, and the possibility of nuclear terrorism.
